
Lawrence Zeegen
Lawrence Zeegen is an illustrator, design writer, agent and educator. He has worked as an illustrator since graduation from The Royal College of Art in 1989 - his clients include major international newspapers and magazines, book publishers, design companies, and advertising agencies and he works as a regular contributing illustrator to The Guardian Newspaper.
The author of two successful books - Digital Illustration: A Master Class in Creative Image-Making (Rotovision) and The Fundamentals of Illustration (AVA), Zeegen's follow-up, Secrets of Digital Illustration is to be published in August 2007. Zeegen has written for Creative Review and MacFormat and is regular contributor to Computer Arts and Computer Arts Projects magazines.
Zeegen is consultant for ZeegenRush - the 'directional global creative visual agency', representing twenty-three of the world's most creative visual image-makers.
As Academic Programme Leader for Communication and Media Arts at the University of Brighton, UK, Zeegen leads undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Graphic Design and Illustration. www.zeegen.com
